FAQs

I currently provide in-person and online via secure and easy-to-use telehealth platform. Clients who work with us must be a resident of Georgia and living in the state, per our licensing regulations (this doesn’t include temporary traveling out of state).
-
I am accepting United Healthcare and Self-Pay clients only. However, many insurance companies will reimburse you if you see an out of network provider so check with your insurance provider!

The initial session is often focused on the client and I getting to know each other. I will inquire about the presenting problems that the client has brought to therapy and the specific goals the client wants to work towards. Therapy will be a collaborative process between the therapist and client. Therapy involves open, honest conversation in which you are free to be your authentic self with a safe, non-judgmental therapist who also brings her authentic self to the therapy room.
Your therapy sessions will be tailored to fit you and your needs. Sessions won't look the same for every person, but we will work together toward your goals of therapy.
Therapy is a healing process that requires patience and grace. But in the end, making small changes to self-criticism, fear of abandonment, relationships issues, and many other presenting problems can bring peace and fulfillment to your life.

Therapy works best when committing to once a week. This is backed by many studies and experience working as a therapist. I find that clients who commit weekly have the greatest transformations.

No, I am not medical doctor. If you want to be evaluated for psychiatric medication, either contact your primary care physician or psychiatrist.
